After watching the trailer and the continued pleas of the hero that he didn’t kill his wife shows that he might be telling the truth. The film seems to explore that a system designed for efficiency and without any ”human error” might have biases and flaws after all. Ironically, it is the protagonist who helped make it.
The idea seems fresh as it will investigate who comes to play while making a decision- heart or intelligence, especially when humans are involved as vulnerable beings.
