Enola Holmes 3 (July 1, Netflix)
After having directed the first two installments, Harry Bradbeer stepped aside, and Philip Barantini took the reins for directing Enola Holmes 3. It is the latest addition to the franchise, with a new adventure of the young detective, this time on the island of Malta. Enola (played by Millie Bobby Brown) is getting ready to wed Lord Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge) when she comes to know about Sherlock’s (Henry Cavill) disappearance.
Enola Holmes 2 (2022) gained a fantastic 93% critics’ score alongside a 79% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Enola Holmes (2020) acquired a 91% critics’ score and a 71% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. While the first two entries of the franchise gained remarkable results from Bradbeer, it poses massive pressure on the third part to be as successful as the first two, with a different director this time.
Exit 8 (July 17, AMC+ and Shudder)
Genki Kawamura’s game-to-film adaptation, Exit 8, will be hitting streaming platforms AMC+ and Shudder on July 17. Since it is based on a famous indie game, the plot revolves around a stressed man trapped in an endlessly looping subway. He is not only navigating the claustrophobic hallways but also confronting his past fears.
The film was released in cinemas across North America, the UK, and other international markets in April 2026. It has earned an impressive critics’ rating of 92% along with an 86% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Dink (July 24, Apple TV)
This summer comedy film, directed by Josh Greenbaum, follows Dusty Boyd (Jake Johnson), a washed-up former tennis prodigy now left to coach unruly children at a country club. He does not want pickleball to be played in the club but, at the same time, is looking for his father’s approval, who is the club’s owner. An injury forces him to end his tennis days, and he reluctantly moves on to play pickleball himself, showing his battle between acceptance of the game and his true desire.
The film will be directly hitting a streaming platform, in which Johnson has never played pickleball in real life before, revealing it to The Hollywood Reporter. He said,
“Our director, Josh Greenbaum, wanted to make it a real sports movie, so the pickleball is represented. We shot the hell out of the pickleball stuff, and it looks good.” [Source]
72 Hours (July 24, Netflix)
With Tom Story at the helm, 72 Hours tells the story of Kevin Hart playing a veteran executive who hopes to revive his struggling career. His participation in a three-day bachelor party with twenty-somethings goes wild, realizing too late that he was added to their chat group.
The film will be exclusively released on Netflix, which is produced in partnership with Sony. Also, Kevin Hart’s production Hartbeat, Davis Entertainment, Counterbalance Entertainment, and Will Packer are also on board in the list of producers.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 (July 29, Disney+ and Hulu)
The long-awaited sequel to The Devil Wears Prada shows a respected, laid-off journalist, Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), returning to Runway as features editor. Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) is trying her best to keep the dying magazine alive, but her former co-worker Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt) has other plans.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 reached theaters on April 30 and May 1, 2026. It bagged a 77% critics’ score and 84% from the audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Drama (July 31, HBO Max)
This romantic comedy film is directed by Kristoffer Borgli centering on a happily engaged couple, Charlie (Robert Pattinson) and Emma (Zendaya), who are getting married in a week. In a pre-wedding dinner, Emma makes a shocking confession that leads Charlie to think twice about getting married to her.
The film was released in cinemas on April 3, 2026, and gained a 76% critics’ score and a 78% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Now the film is hitting the streaming platform, HBO Max.
Over Your Dead Body (July 31, AMC+ and Sundance Now)
Jorma Taccone’s directorial effort, Over Your Dead Body, tells the tale of an unhappily married couple, Dan (Jason Segel) and Lisa (Samara Weaving). They head to a remote lakeside cabin for a romantic reset, but they are both unaware of each other’s secret plan of killing each other.
The film was released in cinemas on April 24, 2026, and earned a 69% critics’ score with a 77% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
